Sami Yusuf, he is originally Azerbaijani, he born in Tehran and grows up in London. He is British nationality and Muslim. He likes the music in childhood, because his father and his uncials were a musical and singers. According in TV interview, he said "I consider myself a new Muslim", he came to Egypt to learn Arabic language and he read about the Islam. He wants to do something to his religion "Islam", so he decided to do a musical project. This was his story in releasing "al-Mu'allim" in 2003.
He has many albums, al-Mu'allim and My Ummah. Without you is a new album was released in 2009, but Sami Yusuf he wrote a message in his facebook wall "Please don’t support these people by buying this 'fake' album". He mean don't support "Awakening Company" which is the company he dealing with it. I read about this problem but I didn't understand the problem clearly, but what I know it is a technical problem "The sound was in not good quality".
